What is Kids Council?

 

Kids Council consists of students representing various groups and classes across the whole school who meet together to:

 

• Initiate new ideas/new things in the school.

• Help make decisions for the school.

• Help solve problems.

• Work together to keep the school safe.

• Help the school spend money on things that are worthwhile.

• Organise special activities/events.

• Facilitate student run assemblies.

• Organise fundraising.

• Survey students, staff and parents/caregivers.

• Organise other events/functions decided by the Governing Council.

 

Kids Council is run as a formal meeting. 

 

It links back into classes through class meetings and other groups

(Deaf Club, staff meeting, Governing Council).
