The Klemzig Auslan Bilingual Preschool is (a school-based preschool) attached to Klemzig School.

It is primarily for children who have an identified hearing loss. The Preschool is staffed with an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Bilingual (Auslan) Early Childhood Worker (ECW) who provide a safe, warm, supportive and inclusive environment that values the language and social-emotional wellbeing of each child. The Early Years Learning Framework is used to provide a high-quality language focused educational program.

 

We value the connection with Klemzig School for the community opportunities it creates and the strong foundation for continuity of learning into formal schooling.

 

Enrolment into the Preschool is limited, and follows an Expression of Interest process which is reviewed by a specialist panel prior to acceptance.
